Bio LNG
The production of BIOLNG starts with the collection of organic biomass, such as agricultural waste, organic waste or dedicated crops. These materials undergo an anaerobic digestion process, in which bacteria decompose the organic matter and produce biogas. The resulting biogas is then purified to remove impurities such as carbon dioxide, sulphur and moisture. The end result is biomethane, which can be liquefied through a cooling process. BIOLNG shares many characteristics with conventional liquefied natural gas (LNG). It is a low-carbon fuel with reduced greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional fossil fuels. Furthermore, BIOLNG is highly energy efficient and can be used directly without requiring significant modifications to existing gas distribution systems.
